Walter Bolivar

Wally Bolivar joined NJ Wine Seller in November of 2018. Wally joined the wine industry shortly after serving in the US Navy. He joined Lauber Imports in 1986 where he quickly caught the wine bug. As a delivery person in NYC he met some of the finest chefs and sommeliers in the country, He moved up the ranks of the company until 2001. He later joined R&R Marketing in and later Vintage Imports. Wally has traveled to many wine regions throughout the world and He has a huge passion for wines as well as the new boom in craft spirits. Wally is WSET certified (Wine & Spirit Education Trust). This combination of knowledge and firsthand experience fuels his passion for bringing exciting wines and knowledge to our customers. 

Wally Bolivar is the proud father of two grown boys Kevin and Quinn and three grandchildren Aurora, Luciano, and Jaxon. When he is not talking wine you will find him either in the gym or in the kitchen as he is a big foodie and likes to try new dishes and cultural dishes from his Latin heritage.
